Sarbjit is a film written and directed by British filmmaker Gurinder Chadha, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the titular role. This movie is a biographical drama based on the true story of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian man who was wrongly imprisoned for life in Pakistan for alleged involvement in terrorist bombings. In addition to being released as a Bollywood-style Musical Film, Sarbjit's release also marked Chadha's directorial debut.
